Group Controller and Chief Risk Officer
After an initial experience as an intern, in 2000 Vincenzo joined the Edison Group dealing with the optimization and operational management of the thermoelectric power plants and with the contractual relationships with industrial counterparts.
He subsequently joined the Edison Finance Division where he took on various roles in the area of risk management, planning and management control.
After a first phase in which he concentrated on the profitability analyses of the power and gas markets following their opening to the free market, in 2008 he assumed responsibility for the planning process, working closely with the company's top management in defining the long-term business plan.
At the beginning of 2011 he assumed the position of Chief Risk Officer, which he still holds, completing the evolution of the management and control framework of the main corporate risks, focusing mainly on issues related to market risk, credit risk and financial derivatives.
Starting from 2017, he also assumed the position of Planning & Control Department Director, focusing his action on simplifying processes, digital innovation and strengthening interactions with business areas.
Graduated in Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, in 2010 he obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Business School of the University of Chicago.
